Though an ancient tradition, ABHYANGHA is more relevant than ever to cope with modern stresses…  What is Abhyanga?   A special daily ritual recommended by Ayurveda to empower the body’s healing system and to promote overall wellness, Abhyanga, most simply understood, is a full body massage with oil.   Ayurveda believes that growing up is a process of dehydration - as we age, not only do we need to keep our diet enriched with hydrating elements, we also need to practice daily oleation to maintain optimum levels of unctuousness in the body, support proper circulation and keep the lymph moving.   The same Abhyanga can become even more effective when Ayurvedic secrets from the Himalayan traditions are added - the results are dramatic!   ABHYANGA is CLASSICALLY RECOMMENDED for MANY PROBLEMS for BOTH MIND and BODY such as when we: have a Vata disorder (that’s whenever we are cold, dry, tired, anxious, or just plain exhausted)  are too thirsty  have dry skin, hair and nails  feel physically weak have joint pain  suffer from insomnia and some kind of mental stress or imbalance  prior to carrying out the detox therapy of ‘PANCHAKARMA’; the five deeply cleansing actions administered by an Ayurvedic Physician.   But is there a technique to it? Of course there is, as prescribed in the texts, as practiced for centuries and as explored by practitioners - However, today, we bring to you a very special, advanced version of Abhyanga that not only follows the protocols from the ancient Ayurvedic texts but also includes secrets from the Himalayan Ayurvedic tradition: Himalayan Mountain Abhyanga What is Himalayan Mountain Abhyanga?
