Hiko E1 Repeat Sprayskirt

Slalom canoes are still evolving and so are our spraydecks. E1 is the culmination of modifications for canoeists who paddle on canoes with hybrid or kayak cockpits. It’s a great choice as a "go-to" spraydeck for beginners and intermediate slalom paddlers. The goal was to make it easier for younger athletes to pull the skirt on and off the cockpit therefore we added some extra surface area to the deck. You can also expect more resilience from denser Durafoam used on the deck portion of the skirt. The entire body is made from e.prene - limestone-based rubber that is kinder to nature. The E1 was primarily designed for the Vajda - Demon 4, but it fits perfectly on all C1 models with a hybrid or kayak cockpit like Vajda MM, Galasport Genie, and others. 4mm e.prene Durafoam on the deck. 3mm e.prene around the waist. 8mm diameter bungee cord. Pull strap in the front. Specially shaped for canoes with hybrid or K1. The seams are protected with a special coating in critical areas. + Specially shaped deck for canoes with hybrid or K1 coaming + The seams are protected in critical areas by a special coating + 4 mm e.prene DuoBase 4.0 Delta. on the deck +3 mm e.prene DuoBase 3.0 Alpha. on the tunnel +8 mm diameter shock cord +The release strap (for quick exit from the boat if needed) is made of thin and light webbing to minimize the risk of accidental gate touches and penalties.
