Hiking orthotics are designed for most types of hiking footwear with removable insoles, from lightweight trail shoes to mountaineering boots. They are made of a semi-rigid nylon shell with a 3mm thick perforated EVA top cover. These orthotics will help with lateral stability and weight distribution and bolster the midfoot, almost functioning as a shank if your boots lack such a feature.
