This ‘one of a kind’ Kirpan was gifted by a client, who is also a colleague, along with my wife and I, during a 350 year birth anniversary celebration, in Patna India in January 2017. The gift was to honor the life and legacy of a wonderful humanitarian and saint-soldier, Guru Gobind Singh, 10th Master of the Sikhs, who lived in India from 1666 -1708. He was a champion of honor, justice and fairness for all. Read a bit of history on how and why this kirpan was initially created here. Read some further history on this kirpan as it transitioned to become the gift mentioned above here. Awarded Best Art Knife at the Chicago Custom Knife Show Chicago, IL - September, 2005. item created circa: 2005 SPECIFICATIONS & SUPPORT  Ocean jasper is a stone of joy and high spirits. It is soothing and centering and can help us from overreacting to people and situations. It is useful in facilitating a meditative state, and can help an experience of "presence" in the moment. It banishes complacency and the habit to take ones loved ones, health, prosperity or security for granted. Provides helpful relief from depression by shifting ones focus on the positive, wholesome aspects of life. Beneficial to wear in social situations, as its positive vibrations are amplified and spread through ones energy field to everyone nearby. Supports the regeneration of tissues in the body, the healing of organs and balancing of the glandular system. Diamond Long held in the treasuries of kings and queens, diamonds were believed to offer access to the Divine energies. This is one reason why diamonds have been set in crowns. Putting such a stone near the brain, particularly at the forehead, can enhance one's inner vision and intuitive connection with the higher Spirit realms. Worn in everyday life, diamonds can intensify one's ability to focus consciousness on manifesting one's goals, dreams and destiny. They seem to emanate more energy for their size than any other stone, and may amplify the power of any emotional state, from uplifted to depressed. They can work therapeutically to "burn through" underlying emotional issues. Diamonds encourage us to see the Light within and to radiate that light outward, illuminating ignorance and illusion. Diamonds often carry the energies of angelic beings who are aligned with both courage and light. They encourage us to express our most sacred self. Silver encourages self-containment and inward reflection. It provides one with patience and perserverance and can be a window to the Soul. It supports one's efforts to go within and explore the deepest aspects of the Self and Nature. It assists one in perceiving the truth behind surface appearances. It aids one in exploring the deep inner realms of emotion and intuition. It is a favorite of those who honor the feminine aspect of nature. Silver brings attunement to the emotional self. It can assist one in embracing mystery and surrendering to the unknown. Can aid in cooling excess heat in the body and bolster the immune system's ability to fight infection. Gold revitalizes one's physical energies and magnifies the power of most gemstones. It supports openness and integrity and builds confidence in the wearer. It is related to worldly knowlege and an understanding of manifestation. It carries the energy of the Sun, stimulating one's will to grow and stretch beyond one's current experiences. Gold can assist one in overcoming paralysis and fear, allowing one to move through difficult circumstances. It evokes strength, determination and will and can augment low physical vitality and depressive tendencies. DELIVERY Orders normally ship within 24-48 hours of receiving them.
