Type 2 Highlander™ Made-To-Order

Type 2 Highlander™ The Type 2 Highlander™ is a heavy-duty work boot built for durability, support, and a slightly more flexible feel underfoot. Built with a 3/4" thick outer sole, the Type 2 Highlander™ offers more flexibility than heavier 1" sole models like the Type 1 Commander™ while still maintaining the strength and support expected from a serious handmade work boot. It is well suited for mechanics, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, construction workers, and anyone in the trades who wants a stout work boot with dependable traction and a slightly easier-wearing sole. Built with 7.5 to 8 oz. full-grain water-resistant leather, a high heel, and arch support, the Type 2 Highlander™ is made for long days, rough conditions, and demanding work environments. Like most of Frank’s handmade boots, the Type 2 Highlander™ is fully rebuildable and resoleable, giving you a boot that can be kept in service for years.
