Elevate your collection with a whisky of unparalleled depth and character. Tasting Notes Nose: A sophisticated and inviting bouquet, immediately revealing Highland Park's signature gentle smoke, intertwined with rich notes of heather honey, dried apricots, and a hint of maritime salt. Underlying sweetness of vanilla bean, candied orange peel, and warm spices like nutmeg and cinnamon emerge, balanced by subtle floral undertones. Palate: A beautifully balanced and remarkably smooth entry. The honeyed sweetness from the nose translates elegantly, accompanied by dark chocolate, espresso, and roasted nuts. The peat smoke is present but perfectly integrated, providing a delightful foundation without overpowering. Layers of ripe cherry, fig, and a touch of ginger spice unfold, leading to a complex and velvety mouthfeel. Finish: Long, lingering, and exceptionally satisfying. The gentle bonfire smoke and heathery notes persist, fading into sweet oak, dark fruit, and a pleasant peppery warmth. A subtle salinity and a whisper of dark caramel round out the finish, leaving a memorable impression of elegance and depth.
