Highland Heather Jacket and Tam 18" Doll Knitting Pattern

This beautiful trendy Jacket and stylish Tam, by Little Miss Muffett, are perfect for your 18-inch doll as she heads into spring.  Knitted all-in-one and from the top down in stockinette stitch with garter stitch hem and cuffs, this easy Jacket offers both long and short sleeves and an off-set front opening with an attractive garter stitch button band.  Five pretty contrasting buttons finish the Jacket.  The Tam, also knitted in stockinette stitch has a ribbed hem and sports a large fluffy pom-pom to finish.  With a combined total of three seams, these are super knits for beginners which teach about gauge and demonstrate how cleverly placed increases and decreases can create different shapes.   This easy pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl® Doll Model Size: The AG Doll I use to model my patterns is Julie who has a fuller body.
