Yes, you can choose to include the net in 5mm, 6mm, or 7mm thickness, or opt for “No Net” if you already have one. Will this goal meet High School tournament requirements? Yes. The goal meets NFHS specifications in dimension, strength, and design. Why choose thicker net (7mm) vs thinner (5mm)? The key to picking a net is typically driven by the age of the player and frequency in which the goal will be used. Typically the older the player and higher frequency the thicker the net. Collegiate and pro players would be recommended to use 6mm and 7mm nets. For high school play and lower 5mm and 6mm nets would be recommended. Should I buy a single goal or a pair? If your program hosts scrimmages or needs goals on both sides of the field, buying a pair often saves in shipping and ensures uniformity. What maintenance is needed to prolong life? Keep frame clean & dry, inspect welds annually, retighten lacing where needed, store nets off-ground when possible.
