High Mountain Nursery

Mountain goat nannies and their kids settle in for a morning nap high in the Beartooth Mountains of Wyoming. Though it's mid July, the adult goats are only just beginning to shed their thick, winter coats that protect them from some of the harshest weather in North America. Today is a time of plenty and easy living for these amazing animals, but summer above 10,000 feet is fleeting and before long this land will return to one of ice and snow.  This is a 30x30 photograph offered on ready-to-hang aluminum for unmatched detail and vibrance. It ships free to all lower 48 states, comes signed and numbered, and is limited to 11 copies.
