This area is historically noted as the only tea-producing region in the Tibetan area, with its tea once serving as a tribute to the Qing Dynasty's imperial court, earning the name "Snowy Region Tribute". This tea is crafted using the techniques of "Jiuqu Hongmei," producing a highland red tea known as "Sky Tea." The amber tea liquor is clear and refreshing, with a sweet, mellow taste and delicate floral aroma. It combines the tenderness of red tea with the purity of the snowy region. In 2023, Kangba Tianjiao-Rongba Snowy Region Red Tea was designated as the official tea for the Chengdu International Tea Expo and won a gold medal at the National Red Tea Competition.
