He studied under his famous uncle Carlos: Founder of Gracie Barra – the most prolific competition team of all time and the IBJJF. Then he studied under his uncle Rillion, former world open class champion, and then earned his black belt under his legendary uncle Renzo. Along the way he learned all of the family secrets, all of the little nuances that make the difference between something working and not working... and oh yeah, he spent his whole life on the mat: that helps too!
