Hiding

PAVAD Internal Affairs Supervisor Kyra Dillon has had enough adventure to last a lifetime—and the bullet scar on her temple proves it. The last thing she wants is to return to her tiny hometown of Value, Texas. But when a family emergency pulls her back, danger follows. FBI Agent Camden Lake has spent the last twenty years chasing ghosts. The one that haunts him most? His missing little sister—the only open child abduction case in Barratt County history. Now, back in Texas for a conference, Cam had every intention of taking a break. Until Kyra Dillon sent up a distress signal. She needs help. And Cam doesn’t walk away from people who need him. Now, they’re running, hunted through the backroads of Texas by someone who wants Kyra dead. And if Cam can’t figure out why in time, neither of them will make it out alive.
