Hideaway Habitat Bundle

The easiest way to create natural hiding places for shrimp and nano fish. One of the biggest challenges in shrimp and nano fish aquariums isn't just choosing beautiful plants—it's creating enough safe spaces for your smallest tank inhabitants to hide, rest, explore, and feel secure. Too often, hobbyists buy individual plants or hardscape pieces one at a time, only to discover they still don't have the layered shelter shrimp, shrimplets, fry, and nano fish naturally seek out. The Hideaway Habitat Bundle takes the guesswork out of building a safer, more natural aquarium. We've carefully selected a combination of moss-covered shelter, planted driftwood, and naturally hollow wood to create multiple types of refuge throughout the tank—from shaded retreats and tunnels to grazing surfaces and tiny hidey holes. Whether you're keeping shrimp, nano fish, or a peaceful planted community aquarium, this bundle makes it easy to create a habitat your smallest tankmates will truly use. What You'll Receive You will receive the following: 1 Christmas Moss Attached to Coconut Shell Bridge 1 Anubias on Driftwood 1 Java Fern on Driftwood 2 Cholla Wood (6 inch) (5 habitat pieces total) Why We Built This Bundle A healthy aquarium doesn't just need plants. It needs places to hide. The Hideaway Habitat Bundle was designed to help hobbyists create an aquarium that feels more natural and more secure for the animals living in it. Instead of mixing random décor and hoping it works, this bundle gives you a thoughtfully selected set of shelter pieces that complement one another both visually and functionally. The coconut bridge creates a true enclosed hideout. The Cholla Wood offers tunnels, crevices, and biofilm-friendly surfaces. The Anubias on Driftwood provides broad-leafed shade and natural structure. The Java Fern on Driftwood adds taller foliage and another ready-made retreat. Together, these pieces help turn open space into a network of protected areas where shrimp and nano fish can graze, retreat, molt, and explore. Perfect For Shrimp aquariums Nano fish tanks Community aquariums with shrimp and small fish Beginner aquascapers Breeding tanks Fry and shrimplet grow-out tanks Planted aquariums needing more shelter Anyone wanting more natural hiding spaces in their aquarium Bundle Care Requirements Difficulty: Easy Lighting: Low to Medium CO₂ Required: No Growth Rate: Slow to Moderate Recommended Aquarium Size: 5 gallons or larger Every living component in this bundle was selected for ease of care and adaptability, making it an excellent choice for beginners while still being useful in more advanced aquascapes. Built for Shelter, Ready to Place One of the best things about this bundle is that it doesn't require complicated setup. The planted driftwood pieces are already attached and ready to place in your aquarium. The Christmas Moss bridge provides an instant focal hideout, while the Cholla Wood can be positioned throughout the tank to create smaller satellite hiding spaces. You can follow the layout shown in our product images or use the pieces as inspiration to build your own custom habitat. How Each Piece Helps Christmas Moss Attached to Coconut Shell Bridge: Creates a tunnel-like hideout with moss-covered texture for added cover and grazing. Anubias on Driftwood: Provides broad leaves, natural wood structure, and shaded retreat zones. Java Fern on Driftwood: Adds taller foliage and layered cover with another ready-made piece of planted hardscape. Cholla Wood: Offers natural holes and hollow spaces that shrimp love to explore, hide in, and graze across. Think of this bundle as a ready-made refuge system—designed to create safer, more natural living spaces throughout the aquarium. Shipping Plants and hardscape are carefully inspected, packed, and shipped to arrive in excellent condition. Because these are live plants and natural materials, each piece will naturally vary in size, shape, wood structure, moss growth, and coloration. That variation is part of what makes every aquarium unique. Looking for Inspiration? The aquarium shown in our product photos demonstrates one example of how these habitat pieces can be arranged to create a natural layout with multiple hideouts for shrimp and nano fish.
