Try to place a bracket within 4" of each bench end (each side). 16" OC Spacing (qty guide) Bench Width Qty of Brackets Up to 16” wide 2 brackets 17”– 32” wide 3 brackets 49”–72” wide 4 brackets 73”–96” wide 5 brackets Over 96” wide Add 1 bracket for every extra 16” of bench width **Can span up to 32" OC if studs need to be skipped or are inaccessible** Installation Basics Mark stud locations and level with a chalk line or laser. Secure to studs with included lag bolts. Apply wall board, like drywall, and finish off. Attach bench with glue, or screws (drill pilot holes to avoid splitting). Compatible with 2x4 and 2x6 wood framing studs. Steel studs require wood insert (see installation guide). Steel Studs: Need to have a wood stud slipped inside for support.
