Hidden Figures

Until 2016, it was not widely known that a room full of Black Women at NASA were the mathematicians that helped to spearhead the US Space Program – all while remaining hidden in plain sight due to the racism and patriarchal norms of the time. The brilliance of these “Hidden Figures” didn’t truly come to light for the masses until a movie called Hidden Figures made their names “household."       This pair of copper earrings celebrates these women, and many others, who remain hidden in the annals of history. Let their story reign forever more and let them continue to inspire generations of women who pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math.                                                   This pair of antiqued copper earrings measures 2.5” in length and is made of lead-and-nickel-compliant materials.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Your earrings are ready and will be shipped to you in 1 to 3 business days.
