Hidden Camera Detector With IR Finder

LOCATE HIDDEN CAMERAS WITH THIS SIMPLE AND EASY-TO-USE HIDDEN CAMERA FINDER This new model in our line of hidden camera lens finders is probably the best hidden camera detector we've seen. This device has the standard bank of red LEDs that flash in the typical visual spectrum, which would then have you looking through the red film on the casing to block out other colors as you scan the room, looking for a reflection from something such as the lens from hidden cameras. What makes this unit special is that along with this standard feature, it also can find invisible infrared night-vision LEDs that are not visible to the human eye. The night vision indicators blink slowly when there is no presence of 940nm IR. However, should it come across infrared, the indicators will go solid, alerting you to the possibility of a hidden camera. You can quickly sweep for a camera lens by looking through the viewfinder. This unit even comes with a camera lens. That way, you'll have an example of what you should look for while utilizing this device. HOW DOES THE LENS FINDER AND LCD SCREEN WORK? As with a standard camera detector, this device has a bank of six red LEDs that flash, which you would then shine onto each surface of your home, over the walls, and knick-knacks to see if you can find any suspicious pinprick reflection that could be a hidden camera. Press and hold the B button to turn on the lens detector, and tap the B button to cycle through the three different flashing speeds. However, be aware that you can get false positives from things like TV remotes or TVs, as they each have tiny LEDs for signal transmissions. With that in mind, be sure that when you find a reflection, you are moving from side to side or picking the device up and turning it around in your hands to figure out if you can get the reflection from any angle or just from a small range of area; as a LED bulb sticks out from a base, reflections can be seen from any angle. However, hidden camera lenses are concave and would only reflect the light into their field of view. Weaving back and forth or walking from one end of the room to the other from the farthest distance to right up on the reflection will also help you determine the field of view. The night vision indicators detector is a couple of rungs higher than other models. This allows the detector to locate IR light LEDs that are invisible to the human eye. To turn on this feature, press and hold the A button. Perhaps, on a security camera, you may easily find the soft glow of IR light they use for night vision even with just the naked eye; however, some manufacturers of hidden cameras have gotten quite adept at hiding night vision on their cameras by using a low-glow infrared illuminator which has become very popular with covert nanny cameras. WHY CHOOSE THIS HIDDEN CAMERA DETECTOR? This model can utilize a bank of LED lights to reflect against a hidden camera lens, and the additional night vision indicator allows you to find hidden camera lenses and infrared IR illuminators used for night vision video recording. It is an effortless device, with only two buttons to turn on or off the flashing LED lights and another button to turn on or off the night vision indicator. Holding down the B button will turn the unit on, and then tapping the B button will increase the rate of the flashing lights up to three times before cycling back, helping determine if you are finding a flickering reflection among your decorations and appliances around the home.
