Hidamari Sashiko Thread, #014 Gingko

Hidamari Sashiko Thread is a contemporary take on an ancient material. These lovely 100% cotton threads are spun in Japan and dyed in a wide range of modern colors — now including more than a dozen variegated colorways! Specifically designed for sashiko, Hidamari thread offers several significant advantages for hand-stitching and ornamental work: it resists shifting position after it's sewn in; it resists pilling; and it has excellent stitch definition. In addition to sashiko, try using this versatile thread for weaving, braiding, cordage, and all kinds of decorative stitching. Each spool is 30 meters (33 yd.) long. Each color sold individually.
