Hex Pendant

The Davey Lighting Hex Pendant offers a unique twist on the traditional box lantern through its distinctive hexagonal silhouette that delivers both architectural presence and maritime charm with sophisticated geometric appeal. This box lantern style pendant features six internally glazed sides that create a striking architectural form while providing optimal light distribution from every angle. Whether suspended over dining tables where the geometric form adds contemporary character while honoring traditional maritime aesthetics, positioned in entryways where the hexagonal shape creates dramatic focal points and welcoming illumination, installed in living spaces where the weathered brass finish complements both modern and traditional decor, or clustered in multiples where the geometric repetition creates stunning visual impact, the Hex Pendant delivers both sculptural beauty and practical ambient lighting. Skillfully crafted from weathered brass at Birmingham metalworks using centuries-old techniques that originate from London's East India Docks in the 1880s, each light is carefully soldered, glazed, and weathered by hand to ensure exceptional quality and authentic maritime character. The six internally glazed sides feature clear glass panels that maximize light output while the robust construction ensures lasting durability. Supplied with 1.5 meters of cable and chain plus matching ceiling hook plate for easy installation. E27 compatibility supports up to 60W bulbs with dimmable options, and the weathered brass finish develops natural patina over time. IP20 rating makes it perfect for interior applications where the geometric form adds architectural interest. Davey Lighting, established in London's East India Docks in 1885, combines maritime heritage with traditional British craftsmanship to create lighting that honors both nautical authenticity and contemporary design sensibilities. The Hex Pendant reflects this dual heritage through geometric design that prioritizes both visual impact and functional illumination, honoring the lantern traditions that guided marine lighting development while meeting modern architectural lighting requirements. Through traditional British manufacturing and attention to both maritime functionality and geometric beauty, Davey Lighting helps create interior spaces that celebrate nautical heritage while delivering lighting that enhances both ambiance and architectural character with authentic maritime elegance and sophisticated contemporary appeal.
