Fireball Tool Hex Key Holder (Low Profile)

Fireball Tool Hex Key Holder – Low Profile Aluminum Keep your Allen keys organized, easy to identify, and ready to grab with the Fireball Tool Hex Key Holder – Low Profile. Made from aluminum with a magnetic base, this compact hex key organizer is designed to solve one of the most annoying problems with traditional Allen key sets: the holder itself. Instead of fighting tight factory holders or moving multiple keys just to get to the size you need, Fireball's circular design keeps every key individually accessible. Grab the key you need, make your adjustment, and put it right back when you're finished. Compact enough for a tool bag but right at home on a welding table, toolbox, or workbench, the Low Profile Hex Key Holder is a simple shop upgrade you'll use every day. A Better Hex Key Holder Most factory Allen key holders do a decent job of keeping the set together—but they can be frustrating when you're actually trying to use the tools. Fireball Tool designed this holder to make individual keys easier to retrieve and replace. The circular mounting pattern keeps the keys separated and organized, so you don't have to pull several keys out of the way just to reach the one you need. It also makes comparing sizes easier when you're trying to quickly find the correct hex key for a fastener. Low Profile Aluminum Design This version of Fireball's Hex Key Holder features a compact low-profile aluminum design. The shorter format makes it particularly useful for: Tool bags Welding carts Toolboxes Mobile service work Welding tables Workbenches Fabrication shops Machine shops Home garages Fireball specifically positions its Aluminum Standard/Low Profile holder as a great option for on-the-go use. Magnetic Base The integrated magnetic base lets you stick the holder directly to a ferrous steel work surface. Attach it to your: Welding table Fabrication table Steel toolbox Welding cart Workbench Machine enclosure Steel cabinet The magnet helps keep the holder in place so you can grab and replace keys with one hand. If you don't want to use the magnetic feature, Fireball designed the magnet so it can also be removed. Two Ways to Store Your Hex Keys Fireball's design allows you to arrange the keys in two different configurations. Open Tree Configuration Leave the base at the bottom and allow the keys to rest on their ball ends. This creates an open, tree-style arrangement that makes individual keys extremely easy to see and grab. It's ideal when the holder has a permanent home on your workbench, welding table, or toolbox. Compact Configuration If you're throwing the holder into a tool bag or moving it around the shop, pull the base upward until it sits snug against the bend in the keys. This creates a more compact arrangement that's better suited for situations where the holder may get moved or jostled around. Inch Hex Key Holder The Inch / Imperial version accommodates 13 standard hex key sizes: .050" 1/16" 5/64" 3/32" 7/64" 1/8" 9/64" 5/32" 3/16" 7/32" 1/4" 5/16" 3/8" That's a wide range of common SAE sizes for fabrication equipment, fixtures, tooling, machinery, automotive work, and general shop use. Metric Hex Key Holder The Metric version accommodates 9 standard sizes: 1.5mm 2mm 2.5mm 3mm 4mm 5mm 6mm 8mm 10mm For shops working with both measurement systems, Fireball also offers an Inch + Metric configuration. Holder Only or Add Fireball Hex Keys Already have a good set of compatible hex keys? Choose the Holder Only option and organize the keys you already use. Need a complete setup? Choose Holder + Hex Keys to pair the organizer with Fireball's chrome hex key set. On Fireball's included key sets, the sizes are engraved directly onto the keys except for the two smallest sizes in each measurement system. Made for the Shop Hex keys are used everywhere in welding and fabrication. From adjusting welding fixtures and tooling to working on machines and shop equipment, having a complete set within reach can save a surprising amount of time. The Low Profile holder works especially well around: Welding tables and fixtures Fabrication equipment Clamps and stops Machinery Welding equipment Power tools Automotive projects Shop maintenance Assembly work Instead of keeping your Allen keys buried in a drawer, put the entire set somewhere you can see and reach it.
