Palace Purple Heuchera

The original purple heuchera. Heuchera Palace Purple is perhaps the most well-recognized and widely planted of all heuchera varieties. Heuchera Palace Purple has very large, shiny, leaves that range in color from deep olive green to purplish-bronze. The 20 inch tall, flower scapes bear an abundance of tiny cream flowers in the late spring and summer that butterflies adore. Heucheras are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, Coral Bells are often used as colorful edging plants along paths or as fillers in mixed containers. 1991 Perennial Plant of the year
