The wonderful foliage erupts in September with white fountains of white flowers that remain until frost. A tough, exciting groundcover that doubles as a cut flower! Autumn Bride is a very easy plant that is tolerant of dry shade and a wide variety of other conditions, including moist shade. Heuchera villosa Autumn Bride is a North American native plant also known as hairy alumroot. It's a species of coral bells that is native to rocky wooded slopes and cliff areas. It is great for covering the bases of trees or other spots that get little moisture.
