The Herold - Solingen Green Stropping Paste is an abrasive compound in a tube designed for honing and restoring the cutting edge on leather strops. It is used to prepare the blade for further refinement and polishing. The green compound has a coarser abrasive level compared to the red Herold paste and is intended for the initial edge maintenance before moving on to finer polishing compounds. Using this paste allows you to quickly refresh the cutting edge and restore sharpness without returning to sharpening stones. Specifications Type: Polishing compound Form: Paste in tube Color: Green Abrasive rating: Approx. 6 µm Purpose: Edge restoration and honing Compatibility: Leather strops Country of origin: Germany How to Use Apply a small amount of paste to the surface of the leather strop. Spread it evenly across the leather, then hone the blade using light pressure. For best results, you can follow the green compound with a finer polishing paste or finish the stropping on clean leather.
