Hermle Petra Table Clock

The Hermle Petra Table Clock brings the storytelling tradition of the Black Forest into your home. This cuckoo clock is crafted in Germany, home of the world’s most skilled cuckoo clock makers, ensuring quality in both construction and movement. Its size makes it a perfect choice for apartments, cozy rooms, or children’s spaces where a full-size cuckoo clock may feel overwhelming. Hermle Petra Table Clock Features: Chalet‑style Design: The Petra is styled like a miniature chalet, hand-finished to capture the rustic coziness of traditional Black Forest clocks. Its scene depicts a young girl feeding ducks, a nostalgic image that evokes the innocence of childhood and the peaceful rhythms of country life. Decorative carvings and painted accents add richness and depth, making it more than just a clock—it’s a piece of folk art storytelling for your mantel, shelf, or side table. Unlike large wall cuckoo clocks, the Petra is a compact tabletop design, making it versatile for smaller spaces without losing any of its character. Sound: At the top of each hour, the cuckoo bird emerges to announce the time, a cheerful detail that has made cuckoo clocks beloved for centuries. After the cuckoo call, the Petra plays one of 12 rotating melodies, from traditional tunes to calming songs, filling your home with a gentle atmosphere. A built-in light sensor automatically silences both cuckoo and melodies when the room darkens, ensuring quiet evenings and uninterrupted sleep. This thoughtful feature makes the Petra enjoyable all day while keeping it restful at night. Quartz-powered: Battery-operated movement ensures reliable timekeeping with minimal upkeep. The clock is powered by 3 C-size batteries, eliminating the need for winding or weights.
