Carr uses no shortcuts in giving us a full portrait of Bavinck, the man, his context, his accomplishments, and legacy. And she does this in accessible, lively prose that draws the reader in to Bavinck’s deep faith and loyalty to Christ and his church.  I am so grateful that I now have available a book on Bavinck that I can give to my grandchildren."   - Dr. John Bolt, Professor of Systematic Theology, Emeritus, Calvin Seminary  "Our family has long loved Simonetta Carr’s engaging biographies for children, and her newest book on Herman Bavinck is no exception.
