When you want a clematis that adds brightness and sophistication without feeling flashy, this cultivar fits beautifully. Distinctive FeaturesHenryi is a vigorous deciduous climbing clematis known for its very large single white flowers, typically about 6 to 8 inches across, with pointed sepals surrounding pale filaments and brownish anthers. The blooms are broad and open, creating a luminous display that reads clearly even from a distance. Flowering usually begins in late spring to early summer on older stems, with continued bloom into summer and often a lighter later flush.
