HENRY RIFLE LEVER WRAP KIT

Please see lever measurement instructions below before ordering. Thank you! ABOUT THIS ITEM: A beautiful addition to any Henry lever-action rifle, this premium quality leather wrap kit makes it easy for you to add a whole new dimension to the look and feel of your Henry. These snug fitting lever wraps soften the edges of your lever and greatly increase comfort. Please review the installation tutorial video at the bottom of this page!   Measuring for Lever and Trigger Guard Wraps In an effort to reduce errors and improve your experience, we have simplified our lever wrap kit options and selection process. All you have to do is measure the length of your lever and select the correct size.  To measure your lever, please use a soft tape measure or string to measure the length (along the outside of the lever loop) from the center of where the trigger guard and loop meet, back to the top curve where the loop approaches the stock when the action is closed.  Please see the images below for reference: Select the lever wrap kit length closest to your measurement without going over. For example, if your measurement came out to be 5.5" long, please select the wrap kit size 5.25" and NOT 5.75" Trigger Guards:  Henry currently has two basic trigger guard shapes and this does affect wrap fitment. Most of the older models of Henry have a flared trigger guard, where the forward portion of the trigger guard is thicker than near the lever loop.  Many of the new Henry models have a slimmer, consistent trigger guard shape. Henry H001 .22lr models are NOT compatible with trigger guard wraps. This is because the trigger sits too close to the guard and the leather will interfere with the action. Please do not purchase the trigger guard wrap add-on. Please see images below to help determine which trigger guard type you have. Flared Trigger Guard Shape Straight Trigger Guard Shape To measure your trigger guard, please use a soft tape measure or string to measure the length (along the oustide of the trigger guard) from where the trigger guard begins at the receiver, back to the center of where the trigger guard and lever loop meet. Below are some images of example measurements:     If you are unsure of the fit, please call us at 385-707-3751 to confirm size prior to ordering. While each kit is carefully cut to fit your lever exactly sometimes slight variations in the leather thickness can result in a slightly looser or tighter fitting wrap. Since leather is a natural product, this does happen on occasion. If your installed wrap is looser than you'd prefer, please reach out to us for suggestions on how to tighten it. PLEASE NOTE: This is a natural product and there will be small variations in color and thickness that are beyond our control. The lever wraps are cut very carefully to fit each model of lever, but even a half millimeter of difference in leather thickness (which is normal and unavoidable across a hide) may result in a slightly tighter or looser fit.  Kit Includes: 5/6 oz Wickett&Craig traditional harness leather wrap 40 inches of sinew string 12 inches of sinew string finishing loop Two leather stitching needles  Instruction sheet PROFESSIONAL WRAPPING: We also offer professional lever wrapping for an additional $30 (includes return USPS Priority Signature shipping). If you are interested in a professional wrap, please contact us by phone (385-707-3751) or email and we will discuss the details, send you a PayPal invoice and provide you with our mailing address. Once your lever arrives, our typical turn around time is two to three business days.     Below is old information regarding Henry lever models and sizes. We have left this here just in case anyone finds it helpful, but it is NOT to be used to help determine fitment anymore. For best results, please measure your Henry lever to determine the correct kit size. Thank you!
