Bitter almond, black cherry, and cherry liqueur open with a rich, confident punch. The heart adds sour cherry, plum, Turkish rose, and jasmine sambac for depth and lift. A warm base of vanilla, tonka bean, cinnamon, Peru balsam, sandalwood, benzoin, cloves, cedar, patchouli, and vetiver finishes the profile with a lingering, resinous comfort. The artwork is inspired by 1800s moonshiner Amos Owens from Cherry Mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. At a time when whiskey was not known for taste, Owens added cherries and other fruits to his whiskey, named it Cherry Bounce, and sold it far and wide, helping him build a legendary reputation. Directions for Use Load a damp shaving brush with soap and build a rich lather in a bowl or directly on the face, adding water gradually until the lather becomes dense and glossy.
