Hemp Sliver Fiber (sold by the ounce)

Talk about a miraculous crop.... Hemp’s so sturdy and renewable – it’s practically a weed! Hemp top is similar to flax (linen) but finer. Spin these long fibers as you would linen or other long staple materials. It is a natural golden color and it is extremely durable. A piece of hemp fabric dating back to about 8,000 B.C. is one of the oldest human relics ever discovered. The fiber is longer, stronger, and provides more insulation than cotton or flax. Dyes nicely with Fiber Reactive dyes for cellulose fibers.
