Hemlock 6mm Non-Slip Yoga Mat — Multicolor Design, Cushioned Grip, Easy-Clean Build Bring a little wild-crafted energy to your practice. The Hemlock Yoga Mat blends an eye-catching multicolor print with studio-ready performance: a textured, non-slip surface for confident traction, joint-friendly 6 mm (¼") cushioning, and a durable construction that’s anti-tear, moisture-resistant, and washable. It comes in the classic 24" × 72" × 1/4" size, is made of PER (polymer environmental resin) that’s phthalate- and latex-free, and features UV-cured digital printing so color stays crisp class after class. On the product page, the price is shown as $65. Yune Yoga Why you’ll love Hemlock 6 mm comfort—without the wobble Too thin and your joints complain; too plush and balance suffers. Around 6 mm is the versatile “sweet spot” many buying guides highlight for everyday practice—cushy for kneeling and seated work yet stable for standing flows and single-leg balance. For a quick refresher on thickness trade-offs (cushion vs. stability) and when to layer a towel, see REI’s “How to Choose a Yoga Mat.” REI Reliable, non-slip traction From Down Dog to low lunges, Hemlock’s textured top helps reduce sliding so your attention stays on breath and alignment—not on re-centering your stance. The moisture-resistant surface also makes post-class wipe-downs fast and effective. Yune Yoga Built to last (and simple to clean) Daily unrolls and sweaty sessions? Bring them on. Hemlock pairs anti-tear durability with straightforward care: wipe with mild soap and water, then air-dry completely before rolling. For deeper refreshes, REI recommends a gentle soak → light scrub → thorough rinse → full air-dry routine—especially helpful for thicker mats. Yune YogaREI Thoughtful, safer materials The mat’s PER is phthalate- & latex-free (also free of heavy metals), and the artwork is UV-cured to keep color vibrant—smart for home practice and shared studio settings alike. Yune Yoga How Hemlock supports your practice Whether you’re heating up a vinyasa, cross-training with Pilates, dialing in mobility work, or melting into restorative, Hemlock provides a soft-yet-stable base. The 6 mm profile eases pressure on knees, wrists, and hips while preserving ground feel for balance work. If you practice hot, layer a full-length yoga towel—a machine-washable sweat barrier that boosts traction and keeps your mat fresher between deep cleans (a simple, hygienic upgrade REI recommends). REI Want science-backed motivation to roll it out more often? Harvard Health summarizes yoga’s benefits for flexibility, strength, balance, and back comfort—plus stress relief—excellent reasons to make Hemlock your daily base. Harvard Health Comfort note: If your joints are especially sensitive, many editors call out 6 mm+ mats for added pressure relief; just know that the thicker you go, the more you’ll trade a bit of portability or floor feel. Recent roundups echo this balance of cushion vs. stability. SELF Care & cleaning (quick routine + deeper refresh) After class: Wipe Hemlock with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap; air-dry completely before rolling so moisture isn’t trapped. (The product page highlights its moisture-resistant, washable finish.) Yune Yoga Occasional deep clean: Follow REI’s simple routine—lukewarm soak + light scrub + thorough rinse, then full air-dry until completely moisture-free. REI DIY between-session spray: REI’s cleaner guide suggests a 1:4 mix of vinegar or witch hazel with water; mist lightly, wipe, and let dry. (Always spot-test and follow your mat’s care notes.) REI Hot-class tip: A towel on top not only improves grip when you sweat—it also reduces abrasion, helping your print look great longer. For most practitioners, 6 mm strikes a solid comfort-vs-stability balance: it cushions joints while still letting you feel grounded.
