Fits Approx 7" wrist  Color: metallic black to steel gray Chakra(s): root Astrological sign(s): Taurus, Capricorn  Hematite enhances meditation practice by using it to quiet the mind and be in the nothingness state of consciousness. This widespread stone relaxes the physical body and worldly thoughts to enable quiet time for connection with the earth beneath you as you connect with the inner sanctums of your consciousness.  Hematite removes scattered energy from your energy field and repels negative thoughts from your mind as well as from the minds of others.  Hematite works wonders in shifting negative feelings by calming and relaxing your attention on the source of the emotional challenge. With this stone in hand, imagine the metallic quality interrupting the connection between you and the source of your emotional discomfort.  Excerpted from The Essential Guide to Crystals, Minerals, and Stones (Llewellyn. 2013) by Margaret Ann Lembo
