"Helping Hands"

This painting was featured in May 2025 in honor of Florence Nightingale’s birthday. and to celebrate Nurses Week and Month. It is from my “Spiritual Awakenings'“ collection. The younger, stronger hand, gently supporting an older, fragile one, tells the story.  I aimed to express not just the act of care—but the emotion, dignity, and connection behind it. Many people know, it was my honor to serve as a bedside nurse for several decades and also to guide new nurses in hospital and the classroom. This painting is meant as a personal tribute —— to those who give tirelessly—lifting others with grace, patience, and compassion of all caregivers, especially nurses. If this work resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts. “Helping Hands” Original Oil on Canvas - 18"H x 14"W 1500 USD (Also available in PRINTS)
