It offers beauty in its simplicity and has become a modern classic, even if the design is more than a 1000 years old.   The knife works really well with all size hands, but should only be used by those of you that have more experience. No finger guard here, so think before use.   The knife is equipped with a rather thick blade, made of laminated carbon steel. Black to its finish, straight from heat treatment. Its narrow tang reaches all the way through the handle and is pinned old style with a diamond shaped washer.   Viking comes with a traditional back sewn leather sheath to hang in its leather loop on the belt.   This knife will rust if not maintained.
