Held in Stillness – Original Contemporary Abstract Botanical Painting, 36 x 48 inches

Held in Stillness is an original abstract botanical acrylic painting on canvas, 36 x 48 inches, by contemporary artist Juanita Bellavance. Held in Stillness unfolds across a generous vertical format, drawing the eye upward through radiating botanical forms that rise with quiet intention. Pale blue-gray, muted green, and soft blush tones create an atmosphere of clarity and softness — a surface that feels both open and deeply considered. The composition balances upward movement with a sense of groundedness, as though each form is both reaching and resting simultaneously. Designed for interiors that value refinement and calm, this large-scale work brings a commanding yet gentle presence to any wall.
