Held Devotional

HELD: 30 Days of Prayer Through Grief Grief did not ask permission. It came, and everything changed. Maybe your loss was sudden. Maybe it followed a long goodbye. Maybe it’s a person, a dream, a future, or a piece of yourself you’ll never get back. Whatever your heartbreak looks like, one thing is true: the ache is real, and it doesn’t disappear just because people think enough time has passed. HELD: 30 Days of Prayer Through Grief is a devotional for the days you can’t catch your breath. The days when getting out of bed feels brave. The days when prayer is nothing more than tears. Written by Erin Mitchell-Crawford after her nine-year-old son, Hayes, tragically and unexpectedly stepped into Heaven, HELD was born in the rawest place imaginable, and every page is steeped in honesty, pain, and the nearness of Jesus. Each day offers: • A Scripture to anchor you when everything else feels unstable • A heartfelt reflection that whispers, “Me too” • A guided prayer for when you don’t have the words • A journaling prompt to release what feels too heavy to carry This isn’t a book about moving on. It’s about learning to survive through the strength of Jesus, one moment at a time. If you are grieving, this book is for you. Not because it will fix you. But because it will remind you that even in your lowest, darkest moments, you are still HELD.
