Hekate Pendant

Hekate Sword-Pendant Inspired by the Greek Goddess Hekate (Hecate). Triple Moon Goddess of crossroads, magic, the moon, and the night. A walk through the art: At the pommel is the Strophalos, a sacred emblem associated with divination and Hekate’s connection to the underworld and the magic of crossroads. This symbol, with its circular design and intricate markings, enhances the dagger's spiritual resonance. Hekate, often depicted as a triple-faced goddess, represents the waxing crescent, full moon, and waning crescent phases of the lunar cycle. Reflecting this, the hilt of the Hair Dagger features a triple moon symbol, embodying the cycles of life, death, and rebirth. Framing the triple moon is a skeletal key motif, a nod to Hekate's role as the keeper of keys to the underworld. At first glance it looks like a decorative frame but at a second glance you'll see that the frame is four interlocking skeleton keys. This design element underscores her connection to transformation, the mysteries of the afterlife, and the crossroads of existence. Etched into the blade are torches, representing Hekate’s role as the goddess of light and nocturnal rituals. In Ancient Greece, torches symbolized her guidance and the illumination she provided during sacred rites dedicated to her name. Materials: Steel and zinc. Nickel and lead-free  Size: Six and a half (6.5) inches long Uses: while it is designed to be a hair-stick, hair-sword, or hair-dagger, it can also be used as an athame, altar decor, letter opener, bookmark, decor for a potted plant, a prop for an art doll, or tucked into a belt, thigh garter, or hat band. I'm sure there are even more ways to slay.
