Hegel C5 Series Multi-Channel Power Amps

Hegel C53, C54 or C55 Multi Channel Monoblock Amplifiers Ask any audiophile: Monoblocks are better. From their dedicated power supplies to their discrete, one-per-channel chassis and control complement, Monoblocks are the “Holy Grail” when cost-no-object performance is demanded. Problem is, if stereo Monoblocks stretch the budget, multichannel Monoblocks burst it wide open. Hegel’s C-series is a game changer. Combining 3, 4 or 5 honest-to-goodness Monoblocks in a single chassis, for state-of-the-art performance at a state-of-the-wallet price.  While typical amps share a single power supply for all channels, each Hegel channel enjoys its own oversized, Toroid-based supply that enables power to double from 150 Watts at 8-Ohms to 300W into 4-Ohms and double again with 600W into 2-Ohms. We also provide a choice between RCA and XLR connection, adjustable gain and phase, a completely separate input-to-output signal path and a vault-like steel enclosure for each channel: true Monoblock build without the size, heat and price penalties you’d rightly expect.  Hegel C5 Series Specifications: Power Output: 3,4 or 5 (model dependent) x 150/300/600 W into 8/4/2 ohms Minimum Load: 2 ohms Analog Inputs:  Balanced (XLR) & Unbalanced (RCA).
