Heels with Heidi J - Intro to Heels

Heels with Heidi J - Intro to Heels by Heidi Jarrett explains the importance of offering an appropriate and safe heels class at your studio. The artist has granted permission for music playback on video. From the choreographer: Hi, it’s Heidi Jarrett. I’m thrilled to be teaming up with MW + to offer you a “Back to Basics” take on how to dance or teach your students how to dance in heels. In my years of working in this industry, it’s safe to say that most of the work I’ve done has been performed in some type of heel. The goal of the “Heels with Heidi J” series is to teach a step-by-step approach to dancing in heels safely while allowing you the opportunity to have a blueprint for Heels class that you can custom cater to the age, level, and venue you desire in your studio. Intro to Heels offers pro tips for basic placement and movement in heels. It also offers a mini center floor warm-up for ALL ages and levels to practice some of those tools. This is what we consider Step One in the “Heels with Heidi J” program. As always, thanks for coming on the journey with me. Have fun!
