Hedron Holographic Flashabou

Sometimes a little flash is enough. Other times, you want the fly to light up like shine like subtlety was never part of the plan. Hedron Holographic Flashabou is a soft, tinsel-style flash material designed to add bold, multi-dimensional attraction to flies, jigs, streamers, teasers, and other tying applications. Its holographic surface reflects a broad spectrum of colors as the material moves and the viewing angle changes, creating much more visual depth than a simple metallic strand. Hedron describes it as having “Tinsel Flash” with “Marabou Action,” which is a pretty good way to sum it up. You get the bright reflective look of fine tinsel, but with an Extra Limp construction that allows the strands to move and flow naturally in the water instead of looking stiff. Use just a few strands as an accent in a Clouser, Deceiver, or other baitfish pattern, blend it into bucktail or synthetic fibers, or use it as winging material on streamers and jigs when you want more visible flash and movement. Each package contains approximately 800 strands, measuring about 10 inches long and 1/69 inch wide, giving tiers plenty of material for everything from subtle highlights to full flashy wings. Features: Original Hedron Flashabou Holographic finish creates a bright 3D, multi-color light effect Tinsel-like flash with soft, flowing action Extra Limp construction for natural movement Excellent winging material for jigs and streamers Great for Clousers, Deceivers, baitfish patterns, teasers, and other flies Approximately 800 strands per package Strands measure approximately 10" long × 1/69" wide Available at Grumpys in Gold and Silver Whether you need a couple of strands tucked into a fly or enough flash to make a jig impossible to ignore, Hedron Holographic Flashabou adds shine, movement, and plenty of fish-catching attitude without turning your pattern into a stiff Christmas decoration.
