Hector Pleat Medium Wall Light

The Original BTC Hector Pleat Medium Wall Light elevates the timeless Hector design through its distinctive pleated bone china shade that adds architectural texture and enhanced light control to create focused illumination exactly where needed. This British design classic features a moveable shade that adjusts effortlessly to direct light with precision, while the pleated construction adds visual depth and sophisticated character that transforms functional lighting into decorative art. The signature cotton braided cable provides authentic craftsmanship detail and complements the architectural form beautifully. Available in three carefully curated colors including natural white, light blue, and light green to suit various interior palettes. Whether positioned beside beds where the adjustable pleated shade provides perfect reading light, mounted in living areas where the architectural form adds visual interest, installed in hallways where the focused illumination enhances navigation, or used in workspaces where the directional control supports detailed tasks, the Hector Pleat Medium combines practical functionality with sophisticated British elegance. This wall light showcases traditional Stoke-on-Trent bone china craftsmanship through a multi-day manufacturing process that begins with slip being poured into specialized pleated molds, followed by careful splitting, overnight drying, hand-finishing to remove imperfections, and final biscuit firing with glaze application for the distinctive translucent finish. The pleated construction enhances both visual appeal and light distribution, creating subtle shadows and highlights that add ambient character to any space. E26 compatibility supports up to 40 watts with dimmable options, and UL listing ensures safe North American installation. Original BTC, established in 1990 by Peter Bowles, designs with quality, detail, and material mixture while celebrating the evolution of classic British lighting forms into contemporary architectural elements. The Hector Pleat Medium Wall Light reflects the brand's passion for creating fixtures that marry style and function through innovative design details like pleated texturing that enhances both form and performance. Through traditional bone china manufacturing in England's remaining ceramic factories and careful attention to adjustability and visual refinement, Original BTC helps create interiors that celebrate both heritage craftsmanship and modern living needs while delivering lighting that enhances daily life with architectural sophistication and focused British elegance.
