The Hebridean Baker by Coinneach MacLeod

With breathtaking photos of the Outer Hebrides, this cookbook will not only make you want to find new and creative ways to eat oats at virtually every meal, like MacLeod strives to do, but it will also make you start planning your dream vacation to these remote and rugged islands, where Vikings once roamed, and where some fine baking traditions have flourished. MacLeod is a charming and energetic guide, but it's the food that will be the real adventure, with recipes for classics like shortbread, marmalade and cullen skink, but also black bun, tablet, soups, cocktails, and a lot more.
