Sterling Link Protective Kali Bracelet

This sterling pendant came to us by way of Eastern India. It is a depiction of the Goddess Kali, female consort to Lord Shiva. Kali is one of the most revered and powerful deities in Hinduism, symbolizing destruction of evil, protection, and the transformative energy that clears obstacles and illusions. As a symbol of productivity, Kali represents the cycles of nature, and can also be interpreted as a constant creator, taking life to give new life. As destroyer, Kali vanquishes that which stands in the way of human purity and peace in both life and death, such as evil, ignorance, and egoism. The heart symbolizes the prevailing nature of love. Well-loved and time worn, this relic is a true vintage piece. We're always left wondering about its previous life and how it made its way to us.  Handmade sterling chain, sterling pendant, gold bronze clasp. Adjustable to 8" India
