MOAB Heavy Duty Folding Bracket for Countertops & Bench Seats

Meet the Mother of All Brackets (MOAB) — the fold-down bracket built to end flimsy, rattling countertop extensions once and for all. Countertop extensions are essential in nearly every build, adding flexible workspace where you need it most. The problem? Most fold-down brackets are the cheap kind you’d find on Amazon: thin, noisy, and unreliable. They rattle on the road, lack a secure locking system, and leave you guessing how much weight they can really handle. The MOAB Bracket changes the game. Built for Strength and Stability Heavy-Duty Design — At 3″ wide, one bracket alone supports up to a 20″ wide extension. No more doubling up on weak hardware. Gas-Strut Reinforcement — A pressurized gas strut keeps the extension locked down tight while you travel. No bounce. No wiggle. No worries. Magnetic Latching System — Dual magnets add an extra layer of security, eliminating the rattle and vibration that plague ordinary brackets. Spring-Loaded Release Handle — Large, smooth-operating handle makes setup and stowing effortless, even in tight van spaces. Serious Capacity Rated to hold 95 lb — perfect for countertops, workstations, or even a fold-down jump seat when paired. Stress-tested to 270 lb — we pushed it far beyond spec and it held up. (That said, keep it under 95 lb for long-term use.) Complete Install Kit Your MOAB Bracket comes with everything you need: 4× carriage bolts 4× washers 4× nyloc nuts 6× black ¾″ wood screws Why Choose the MOAB? Because your home deserves better than flimsy brackets that squeak, rattle, and fail under pressure. This is the bracket engineered for adventure — quiet on the road, solid under load, and effortless to use every day. And yes, in case you’re wondering… MOAB = Mother of All Brackets.
