Handmade in Cave Spring, Georgia, from 3/16-inch thick American steel, this heavy-duty ash grate is built for years of dependable performance. By allowing ash to fall away from the burning wood, the grate keeps oxygen flowing beneath the fire—helping logs ignite faster, burn more completely, and produce less smoke than fires built directly on the bottom of the fire pit. Whether you're enjoying a quiet evening around the fire or hosting friends for the weekend, the Heavy-Duty Ash Grate helps every fire burn better while making cleanup quick and easy. Why Use an Ash Grate? A fire burns best when it has plenty of oxygen. The Evergreen Patio Ash Grate raises firewood above accumulated ash, allowing air to circulate underneath the fire. The result is: Hotter fires Faster ignition Better airflow More complete wood combustion Less ash buildup around burning logs Easier cleanup after every fire It's one of the simplest upgrades you can make to improve your fire pit experience.
