Heavenly Hosts Canvas Wall Art

These wispy angels look especially ethereal on top of their glowy background. The color is golds and creams and greens — it feels reminiscent of unlacquered brass, beginning to oxidize and turn, and there are so many beautiful variations in the paint. I created this piece when visualizing how it might feel when it says in Luke, “Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth, peace to those on whom his favor rests.”" Continue to tell the story of that first Christmas Night with Flocks by Night. We show ours in a vintage frame, but we also love it in our Gallery Aged Brass frame!
