Heathered Shag Mat

The Heathered Shag Mat brings understated sophistication to any space with its beautifully balanced blend of tones and inviting texture. Designed to complement a wide range of interiors and outdoor living spaces, its subtle heathered appearance adds depth and warmth while maintaining a clean, timeless look. Perfect for entryways, kitchens, bathrooms, patios, pool decks, and more, this versatile mat delivers exceptional style and everyday performance. Crafted in the USA from durable looped TerraStrand® yarns, the Heathered Shag Mat is naturally resistant to mold, mildew, and chlorine, making it ideal for year-round indoor and outdoor use. Its quick-drying construction and waterproof, non-skid vinyl backing provide secure footing without the need for a rug pad, while the resilient woven texture stands up to heavy foot traffic with ease. Available in custom sizes, the Heathered Shag Mat can be tailored to fit your space perfectly. Custom mats feature stripes running parallel to the longer side, ship rolled without tags, and have an approximate lead time of six weeks. Please note that custom orders are final sale, with a production tolerance of ±3–5%, and special shapes or round sizes are not available. Keeping your mat looking its best is simple. Vacuum, shake out, or hose off for routine cleaning, and blot spills promptly with a damp, lint-free cloth. For a deeper clean, hand wash with mild detergent and allow the mat to air dry completely before replacing. Occasionally lifting the mat allows both it and the surface beneath to ventilate and remain dry. Avoid machine washing or cleaners containing acetone, Pine-Sol®, or citrus-based ingredients. Founded in 2000 by designer Sandy Chilewich, Chilewich has redefined performance textiles through innovative design, exceptional durability, and a commitment to sustainability. Every product is thoughtfully crafted to endure decades of daily use, helping reduce waste by minimizing replacement and eliminating the need for resource-intensive machine washing. The brand continues to pursue better materials, better manufacturing, and better solutions for both people and the planet.
