Heath 'Furzey'

Heath 'Furzey', Erica x darleyensis 'Furzey', will put on a colorful winter show like few other plants can do. Profuse, rosy, bell shaped flowers arise in late winter and add an untimely, yet welcome touch of spring to the landscape. Often the needle-like foliage of this small and tidy shrub will offer a bronze hue after done blooming. As late spring approaches and flowers fade, Heather 'Furzey' will adopt pleasing bronze/green foliage for the rest of the season. This plant is a great option for rock gardens and sloping conditions. It is tough enough for coastal regions and makes the biggest impact when planted in mass as a gorgeous groundcover.
