Heat Comes Down Black Vinyl + Wayward Wind 7"

Our album "Heat Comes Down" is turning one-year-old this month, and I'd like to extend my sincere gratitude to the folks that have dug it up and have spent time with it. Getting to make this record was very special to me, and I'm super proud of what we captured with Andrija Tokic and John James Tourville at the Bomb Shelter. However! We didn't get to put all the songs we liked on the record due to the limitations of the medium... These two songs were kind of the odd ones out of the bunch, but I still wanted them to make it out there somehow. Though we've been playing both of them regularly live, I'm glad to say the studio versions are now seeing a proper release in the form of a 7" single. Enjoy, and thanks for listening. Side A 1. Outset of the Breeze (3:03) Side B 1. Garden of Fools (4:52) + Heat Comes Down Black Vinyl. John R. Miller’s Heat Comes Down finds him teaming up with producers Andrija Tokic and John James Tourville (Alabama Shakes and Sunny War). With its understated but gorgeously detailed convergence of country and folk-rock, Heat Comes Down hits with a potent impact despite its exquisite intricacy. Miller says, "My hope is that there’s some universality in there, and that people find comfort in knowing that someone else feels the same way they do.”  Track List:  Side A Nobody Has To Know Your Mind (4:53) Insomnia Blues (4:00) Harpers Ferry Moon (4:02) Ditcher (3:51) Crumbling Pie (4:14) Side B Smokestacks On The Skyline (3:14) Summer Lens (3:22) Conspiracies, Cults, & UFOs (2:52) Basements (3:43) Dollar Store Tents (3:32) Press On (3:37)
