Hearth Pad Deck Protector

Designed to protect the deck or patio from stray embers or ash. The Blue Rooster Company Chiminea Pad is made from heavy woven fiberglass with a durable latex backing. Created specifically for use with our popular large cast aluminum outdoor fireplaces. This fire resistant pad will keep your wood or deck area looking new and is easily moved for quick furniture arrangement. Designed as protection from a stray ember or ash from a wood burning fireplace, the fire resistant pad is not fireproof. It will protect your deck area from embers or a burning log until it can be placed back in the fire. It will not protect your deck from direct heat or intense direct fire. Think of it as a fire suit for your deck. A fire suit will protect you from sparks and flame but does not help in a 1200 degree oven for extended periods… Not recommended for firepits, small cast iron chimineas, or short leg chimineas such as the Garden or Pine. If you are using any other fireplace than a Blue Rooster Company large cast aluminum chiminea we recommend putting a patio block or tile under your outdoor fireplace. The patio block or tile should be thick enough to insulate the pad from continuous heat. When using on composite decking, place fireproof barrier under pad such as patio block, tile, bricks or pavers. The Blue Rooster Company large cast aluminum outdoor fireplaces can be placed directly on the pad. Chiminea pads are currently only available in Black. Protect deck, patio or hearth area from stray embers or ash Heavy duty construction with a non-slip backing Rolls up for easy storage For indoor or outdoor use 30 Day Warranty for Manufacturer’s Defects Our fire resistant pads meet or exceed the CPSC standard FF 1-70 for flammability of carpets and rugs.    Discount available when ordered with a chiminea.
