During my visit in October 2014, I had the privilege of meeting this wonderful family in their shop, located in the heart of Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga. Our sandalwood is sustainably harvested in Mysore, India, following strict environmental regulations and fair-trade practices. From there, it travels to our trusted supplier in Rishikesh before making its way to us in the U.S., where we hand-assemble each mala with intention and care. For over a decade, we’ve been honored to know our source personally and to directly support their family through this meaningful connection.
