Healing Is Not Linear Poster

The saying "Healing is not linear" means that the process of recovery, whether physical, emotional, or psychological, does not follow a predictable path. For some people, healing may occur gradually over time, with periods of relief followed by new challenges. Research shows that healing is supported by relationships that are safe and trusting. The Healing Is Not Linear Poster teaches clients that the healing process is more like an upward spiral that involves setbacks, progress, and growth. Its design features curved lines from bottom to top, which shows that healing involves moving forward, even if there are moments of difficulty. Different colors represent various emotions and stages in the healing process. Knowing that challenges are a normal part of healing may reduce frustration when progress feels slow. Parents and caregivers can offer support by listening to a child’s concerns and introducing coping strategies, which can serve as therapeutic outlets during the healing process. *This item is an instant digital download.
